What we collect, why we collect it, and how to control it.

The short version. You can read every guide on this site without giving us anything. We only receive personal information if you choose to send us a message. We show third-party advertising, and those advertisers may use cookies — you can opt out of personalised ads using the links below.

TwoWheelGuide publishes free cycling guides. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the data controller for this website. Contact us at privacy@twowheelguide.com or through our contact page.

If you use our contact form or email us, we receive the information you choose to send: your name, email address, the topic you selected, and the content of your message. We use it solely to reply to you.

Email privacy@twowheelguide.com. We respond within 30 days, and may ask you to confirm your identity first.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including serving the site over HTTPS. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please don’t send sensitive personal information through the contact form.

Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where data leaves the UK or EEA we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we change the date above. Substantial changes will be flagged clearly rather than made quietly.
